Bluebonnets 2011!

It is hard to believe that this was Austin's third time taking pictures in the bluebonnets and luckily Hunter was born with enough time last year to snap a few pictures of him so it was his second. We went to a park at Creekside in the Woodlands and took a few. I actually took 95 (that's what the computer said when I downloaded them) but with two boys you have to snap quite a few in hopes that one turns out okay. We are blessed to live in the great state of Texas (and very blessed to only drive 10 minutes to a field full of bluebonnets)!

Austin being silly!
Austin being serious. Haha! I still love the picture though.

Lizard!

So yesterday in the backyard while playing we spotted a lizard. Austin kept trying to get close to see it and the lizard kept going up and down his fort (and so did Austin). It was very cute! Now when he gets older and starts picking these things up and bringing them to me I'm not so sure I will think it's cute. Haha! Especially frogs...have to admit I'm a little afraid of those. I know! I've already been told I need to get over that with two boys.

Up...
Down...
Up...Where did it go mom?
The closest Austin got to the lizard. I had to tell him to go around back and not the rock wall so that he could get close. He was so fascinated!

My Boys are Blessed!

My boys are blessed with a daddy that loves them! I must say it still melts my heart seeing David be a dad to our boys. Today I had to run to Walmart to pick up a few things (Hunter was having some poop issues...again!) and when I came back this is what I found: both boys soaked from playing in the sprinkler in their clothes and sitting at the edge of our garage blowing bubbles with their dad! Perfect! I love my life and I love all three of my boys!

I love how anxious and excited Hunter looks!

I want a turn daddy!

Our Trip to Kemah

On the last day of spring break (well Friday) we ventured down to Kemah. Uncle Mike's girlfriend (but one day will be Aunt Lena) was in town and David's parents wanted to take all of us some where different since she is from Arkansas. The boys loved it because we were outside, we got to see fish, and got to spend the afternoon and evening with people they love! Doesn't get much better!

Hunter checking out the boats going by!
Daddy and Austin playing games! (Not sure who is having more fun.)
Austin riding the merry-go-round with Coach. (They are waving to Hunter and KayKay.)
My boys and I before dinner! (So glad I had David take this picture. I never get in pictures with my boys since I am always taking them. Haha!)
Austin and Hunter looking at the fish in the aquarium where we ate.
Love this picture because it looks like the fish is coming after Hunter. He is pretty cute! I would want to eat him up too!

Houston Rodeo

We took the boys to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo over spring break. We basically went so that Austin could see the animals and the tractors. I was thinking that since we went early and it was the day that KISS was going to be playing that it wouldn't be too crowded because surely people there to see KISS aren't there to see cows. WRONG! I think the rodeo is always packed. Both boys loved it so I would say it was well worth it...even the 30 minute wait for the 2 minute pony ride. I think my favorite part was seeing the boys sit on the tractors. Austin had to sit on EVERY single one that was there. Hunter got in on the action too. Although he just got to "test drive" one. We will definitely go back next year!

Giddy up!

Stay-at-Home Momma

I've been trying to get Hunter to say momma...well since the day he was born. Haha! Austin said momma first and I was curious what Hunter would do. He tries to talk and his first word was "hi" followed by "bye" just recently. Today marked the first day of Spring Break where I can be a stay-at-home mom and he said "Momma!" Awww! It's going to be a great break!

Brothers Look Out For Each Other

Hunter tonight figured out how to climb into the fireplace. Austin was the same way but now the tricky part is we have two dare devils. Oh the joys of raising boys but I wouldn't want to have it any other way. Austin loves his little brother so much and Hunter adores his big brother and wants to be just like him...hence the climbing onto everything. So after Hunter learned his new trick loving big brother comes back and says this...

He placed several right by the fireplace too! Melted my heart to hear him looking out for his little brother. I'm so blessed!

Pillows protect Hunter!
