Trick-or-Treat

What a great Halloween! This was Austin's third Halloween but first time to go trick-or-treating. He loved it and did great! He would take his helmet off after every house only because he wanted to eat his sucker and it was kind of hard to do through his face mask. Towards the end of trick-or-treating his basket was heavy but he was determined to carry it. David and I both offered to carry it up to the doors but he would tell us no and then he would do it. So cute! Hunter was cute as well. He would make his loudest grunts or noises when Austin was at the doors. I think he was saying, "Austin make sure you get some for me!" I think next year we will have two trick-or-treaters. Can't wait! Here are some of my favorites!

And now for the trivia...who is who??

Answer: Hunter, Hunter, Austin, Austin. Scary isn't it?

Pumpkin Patch 2010!

Wow! Is October really already over? Maybe I have been in denial about it since some days still are in the 90s and it feels like summer. Ever year we go to the pumpkin patch by our house to pose in the pile of pumpkins. I guess I should rephrase that and say every year since we have had kids. Haha! If we thought last year was hard taking pictures this year was quite the event as well considering we had two kids (Austin who is 2.5 years old and Hunter who is 6 months old). I mean it's hard enough at the house getting them to look at me at the same time so trying to get them to look at the camera and not the other 100 people and distractions they have there was quite the task. We did get some good ones I think though and I must say it helped that it was a weekend daddy had off because all the other coach families were there too and we could all take turns taking pictures of each other. Here are just a few from the pumpkin patch.

Arriving at the Pumpkin Patch. Austin scoping everything out.
Hunter in the pumpkins.
Austin's picture in the pumpkins...aka Austin climbing the pile of pumpkins.
Did I mention there were distractions? Haha!
Austin was getting bored while waiting for the train ride so he was taking pictures. He took this one of daddy!

And then there was four...Pumpkin Patch photo 2010!

Why is time going by so quickly?

What has happened to my life? It is amazing how now after having two boys (I guess really 3 including David) my life is playing on fast forward. I love my life but am not in love with how quickly everything is going by. I try my hardest to live in every moment because my boys are a constant reminder that today is precious and they will only be small for a little while. It seems like just as soon as I put away the football for the monthly photo I am getting it back out. I guess the good news is that they still are at the age where I am their momma. Austin was going through a phase where he was calling me mommy which made me sad because it was yet another sign that he was growing up but the past few days I have been momma. It's the small things but I will be honest and have loved being momma again. Here are just a few pictures I have taken lately showing how big my babies are getting.

Don't smile Austin!
Goofball.
Now we're awake and ready!
Brotherly love.
Love this photo. He looks like a doll to me. So handsome!
I feel like this should be his school photo. Haha!
And there they are...his TWO bottom teeth!
Chewing on his hand to help get more teeth to come through.

Perfect Weekend!

I know it has been over two months since I last posted and I guess my only excuse is that I am no longer a stay-at-home mommy. Haha! I have so much to update about but don't have enough time tonight to post everything but had to share a few photos I took today. This weekend was one of those weekends that was perfect because of the small things. Favorite memories of the weekend: Friday: Highlander Football Game Victory- but my favorite memory was Austin discovering, looking at, touching, being scared of, and laughing at a 3 inch grasshopper. Saturday: taking the boys to a fall festival while daddy was at work. Sunday: spending the entire afternoon outside! I took lots of pictures! These are just a few of my favorites from outside today!

Time for some yard work. I got on my gloves mommy!
Look at the "weeds" I got mommy! (Loose grass leftover from when we mowed the other day.)
Austin's dinosaur shoes. (KayKay bought these when she went to Disney.)
Austin putting the "weeds" and dirt in his wheelbarrow.
Austin showing Hunter the "weeds". I love Hunter's face. Haha! He looks so impressed...NOT!

Hunter playing in his excersaucer on the deck.
Kisses from mommy!
Laughing with mommy!
